Date fields not working in documents

My date fields aren't working in my documents

I'm getting an error

It's pulling through as blank

This error is normally to do with date formatting. Have a look at how you have formatted it e.g.
##[StartDate_DateValue].ToString("dd/MM/yyyy")##

Note the:

  • Double hashtags at the start and end
  • The “_DateValue”
  • The format of the section in brackets dd/MM/yyyy

Got it - thanks!

Still not working

Horrrray!

Jump into source on your document editor and check there is nothing in the middle of your system ID or formula that shouldn't be there.

Still not working

Contact our Obsessive Support team who will be able to help you with this!

Check your are using the correct system ID e.g.

[StartDate_DateValue] vs [InceptionDate_DateValue]

Got it!

Nope - still not working

Horray!

Check your formatting is exact:
.ToString("dd/MM/yyyy") vs .ToString("dd/mm/yyyy")
