API Builder integrations are configurable. Like Addresscloud, services such as Companies House, sanctions screening providers and food hygiene data sources can return information to SchemeServe. The response can be stored in a hidden question and used in rating, rules, referrals or underwriting decisions.

RISK INTELLIGENCE

Addresscloud

Retrieve property-level address and risk information, including flood and burglary scores. Responses can be stored in hidden questions and used in rating, rules and referrals.

BUSINESS DATA · API BUILDER EXAMPLE

Companies House

Look up business details during a quotation or underwriting journey. Returned company information can be stored in SchemeServe to reduce manual entry and support validation, rating or referral decisions.

Requires access to a suitable Companies House API or service, together with the relevant credentials and API Builder configuration.

Sanctions checking

Send customer or business details to a third-party sanctions screening service and use the returned result within the SchemeServe journey. The response can support automated referrals or other compliance actions.

Requires a sanctions screening provider with a compatible API, an active provider account and the necessary credentials.

FOOD RISK DATA · API BUILDER EXAMPLE

Food hygiene data

Enrich food, hospitality or catering schemes with information from a food hygiene data source, such as Food Standards Agency data. Returned ratings or other available values can be stored in SchemeServe and used in underwriting, rating or referral logic.

The available data, licensing and authentication requirements depend on the selected provider or data service.

ePostcode

Add UK postcode lookup, address autocomplete and address validation to new business, renewal and mid-term adjustment journeys.

Requires a separate ePostcode account, API credentials and lookup credits.

Opayo

Take card payments for new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. The integration also supports eligible refunds and reuse of valid stored payment methods.

Requires an active Opayo account and card payments enabled within the scheme.

Any API credentials, SFTP details or third-party account information.

Your preferred testing process and go-live timescale.
Third-party services may require their own account, subscription or usage credits. Confirm the provider's requirements before configuration begins.
