SchemeServe provides policy-level date fields for use in formulas, documents, emails & other areas of the system. Use the table below to understand what each field returns.
| Field | What it returns | Important notes | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| [Policy.CreatedDate] | Date the policy case was first created. | Does not change when MTAs, renewals or other records are added. | Created 16 Aug 2025 → 16 Aug 2025 |
| [Policy.InceptionDate] | Inception date of the latest First Premium or Renewal period. | For the policy's original inception date, use [Policy.OriginalInceptionDate]. | Renewed 16 Aug 2026 → 16 Aug 2026 |
| [Policy.OriginalInceptionDate] | Original inception date of the policy. | Remains the original date after renewals. | Originally incepted 16 Aug 2025 → 16 Aug 2025 |
| [Policy.ExpiryDate] | Expiry date of the latest record. | The record does not need to be On Cover. Quotations & invited renewals can therefore change this date. | Renewal quotation expires 15 Aug 2027 → 15 Aug 2027 |
| [Policy.RenewalDate] | Policy expiry date + 1 day. | Based on [Policy.ExpiryDate], including its behaviour with later records. | 15 Aug 2026 expiry → 16 Aug 2026 |
