SchemeServe users with Opayo (formerly SagePay) integrations must ensure their accounts are correctly configured to:
- Support PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
- Allow SchemeServe IP addresses for payment processing
Failure to apply these settings may result in failed or blocked card payments.
Important: February 2023 IP Update
As part of ongoing infrastructure updates, SchemeServe introduced a new outbound IP.
You must ensure the following IP address is added to your Opayo account:
- IP Address: 20.26.8.176
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
⚠️ Do not remove any existing IP addresses already configured, as this may interrupt live payment processing.

What is PSD2 SCA?
PSD2 is an EU regulation that requires Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) for online payments.
This typically involves 3D Secure authentication during the payment process.

To remain compliant and continue processing payments, you must:

If not already enabled, activate 3D Secure for all transactions.
