Creating new Endorsements

  1. Navigate to Admin - Endorsements
  2. Go to conditions and select 'Add New'
  3. Add your identifier, title and body
  4. Use any necessary HTML to bold or underline your endorsement.
  5. Save changes

Endorsements are normally given a 4 digit number as the identifier e.g. 0001. This is the number you will use in your rule to trigger the endorsement being attached the policy.

Formatting
Endorsements will need to formatted using HTML. Using “source” within your endorsement editor, add html. This is needed so that when you pull your endorsements through to your documents, they will keep the formatting already set in your documents.

Documents
Endorsements can be pulled into documents by using a variety of system IDs

  • [Underwriting.Memorandum.MP] - This will shows you all the endorsements per property
  • [Underwriting.Memorandum.Policy] - This will show you policy level endorsements
  • [Underwriting.Memorandum.Summary] - This will exclude the body of the endorsement
  • [Underwriting.Memorandum] - This will show you the full endorsement
